Hello! My name is David McKnight.
My professional career began in 1996 as a management consultant in Chicago. However, my journey as an image consultant began in 2005, when I moved from Chicago to New York City to pursue image consulting classes at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology).
After only a few classes, I began to work with clients on the weekends as a side hustle. My reputation and clientele swiftly grew, and soon I was styling celebrities, magazine photoshoots, fashion shows, etc. I was even invited to judge the Miss Teen NY pageant and host an online fashion-related reality show.
I eventually realized that I wanted to merge my love of style with my corporate experience. So, I traded in the fashion clients for professional clients. This led me to write my first book, The Zen of Executive Presence, which then led to speaking at numerous conferences, universities, and corporations. My clients have included doctors, CEOs, presidents of companies, and c-suite executives. I derive my greatest joy from helping others grow, feel more confident, and achieve aspirations they never thought possible.
